TITLE: Sales Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

At the core fort the sales Consultant position for BPP is responsible for selling BPP products and services via phone, email, and in person. The Sales Consultant will achieve specific personal targets on a monthly basis. The Consultant is a contracted and commissioned salesperson reporting to the Sales Manager.

About Building Products Plus: We are Building Products Plus/American Pole and Timber. We are a Wood and Timber distribution and specialty-materials manufacturing Company unlike any other. We find and apply the best business practices and do so in a disciplined and rigorous way.

Reports to: BPP Sales Management

Scope of employment: Other than company-designated holidays, the position requires a minimum of 40 hours of work Monday to Friday each week.

Role & Responsibilities

Planning

Develops and maintains a daily/weekly sales action plan for key prospects and to close customer business
Reports plans and activities to sales management and is prepared to provide detailed reports on a Weekly/Monthly basis. (Revenue, Forecast and Activity).

Created and updated as needed

Sales Duties and Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for meeting sales goals and targets as assigned by sales management, including day-to-day selling activities, including:

Contacts and develops assigned sales leads
Monitors and tracks prospect communication
Meets face-to-face as needed for presenting and selling
Enters all sales deals and associated sales activities in BPP CRM
Obtain approval for all quotations prior to submittal to prospects
Submit quotes to Customers and negotiate as authorized to secure the contracts
Enters quotes and orders in BPP order tracking database
Works with BPP Direct Sales Manager to ensure conformity with BPP designs, pricing, product applications, etc., for projects
Works with inside sales staff to ensure accurate & complete Sales Order entry
Other sales-related tasks as assigned from time to time by sales management and other executives
Daily updated and accurate CRM database
Accurate/complete quotations and sales orders in system

Measures of Performance

Meeting or exceeding sales targets
On-time performance, work ethic, and quality of personal development plans
Provides accurate forecasts, updates, and requested reports to sales management

Administrative Duties and Responsibilities

Attends and participates in sales meetings
Obtains pre-approval of expenses as needed and submits expense accounts on time
Ensures professional behavior at all times according to the standards of BPP
Expense account submissions

Remuneration:

The position pays a base salary of $4,000.00 per month plus monthly commission.

After 90 days, you will be eligible for any bonus or override programs we may have in place from time to time for our sales force.

Benefits:

The position offers health insurance for the sales representative paid by the company with a contribution payment by the sales representative of $61 per month. Dependents need to be paid for by the sales representative. This will start 90 days after the hiring date.

Vacation of 2 weeks per calendar year is offered after the first year of employment. Vacation time is non- accruable.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
