IMMEDIATE TEACHING POSITION AVAILABLE !

We are looking to hire teachers for multiple school systems in the metro Detroit area!

Locations include: White Lake, Commerce, Brighton, Clarkston, Livonia, Goodrich, Linden and Davison!

Do you love ART and sharing your knowledge of drawing with KIDS?

Are you looking for a rewarding teaching position and enjoy working on a part time basis?

If so.....Join us at Young Rembrandts!

Young Rembrandts is hiring fun, creative people to teach drawing in their local communities. We run classes during the school year at Elementary Schools and Community Centers.

We are currently looking for teachers available 3-4 afternoons per week. (All supplies, curriculum, and training provided.)

What we DO require:

- We ask that our teachers have proven experience leading and managing groups of children (such as coaching, scout’s leader, retired teacher, aid in the classroom, a current teacher, a classroom volunteer, etc.)

- Strong time management skills.

- Attention to detail, patience, punctuality and a positive attitude are KEY aspects for this position.

- Great organizational and communication skills are strongly desired

- Reliable transportation and a good driving record

- No prior criminal record (background checks required)

- Have a fun & outgoing personality!

What we DON’T require:

- No formal art education experience? No problem! We teach you all you need to know in order to run a successful class! We offer paid training on our outstanding drawing curriculum to all selected candidates.

This is a light PART TIME position working during after-school hours (weekdays between 3-5pm). Ideally, teaching 3-4 classes per week. Each class runs for 1 hour.

$35 per class (teaching rate)

Our teachers love what they do and do what they love! Young Rembrandts provides a rewarding experience as an educator to children in all communities!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $35.00 per day
