Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Manager/Floor Manager to lead our dynamic food service team and ensure seamless execution of banquet and event operations. This pivotal role combines leadership, hospitality expertise, and operational excellence to deliver memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong management skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food preparation, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Duties

Lead and supervise banquet and floor staff to deliver outstanding service during events, ensuring all guest needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm
Coordinate with culinary teams to oversee food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery for banquets and special events
Manage daily operations including shift scheduling, staff training, and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations by supervising proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and service areas
Assist in budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses related to food production, staffing, and supplies while optimizing operational efficiency
Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and ongoing development initiatives to enhance team skills in hospitality management and food service excellence

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with a focus on banquet or event operations
Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team management, and performance evaluation
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and promptly
Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing inventory control measures
Background in hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable; casual dining or fine dining experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on training & development, shift management, and operational oversight
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for event coverage
Strong understanding of food safety regulations along with excellent communication skills
