Full Job Description

*Must be located in Los Angeles, CA and be able to travel to our office in 90013.
~ Office hours 7am-3pm PST (flexible)

T Palmer Agency is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure and organization to financial operations.

As an event and full service end-to-end marketing agency, you'll play a critical role in keeping our finances organized by managing purchases, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate financial records across client projects.

What You'll Do

Manage and organize all agency purchases, including event expenses, booth builds, client purchases, shipping, and vendor payments
Record and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks
Maintain accurate expense tracking by client, project, and event
Process invoices, bills, reimbursements, and purchase orders
Reconcile company credit card statements and bank accounts
Work closely with the Events and Operations team to ensure budgets and expenses stay on track
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close
Organize financial documentation and maintain accurate records for audits and tax preparation
Assist with any tax forms between our employees, contractors, vendors, etc. (1099, W9, W4)
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial workflows
Manage payroll and HR-related financial administration for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state-specific labor laws, wage requirements, paid leave regulations, and other employment-related reporting and recordkeeping requirements.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
10+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is required
Experience managing accounts payable and expense tracking
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience working in an agency, events, marketing, construction, or project-based business is a plus

Bonus Points

Experience tracking expenses across multiple client projects
Familiarity with event production, trade shows, or experiential marketing
Knowledge of sales tax and vendor management
