Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft) is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing equipment throughout our facility. This position helps maximize equipment reliability by minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, identifying root causes of failures, and implementing permanent corrective actions.

What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns while identifying and correcting root causes.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Install, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic prints, and mechanical drawings.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial electrical systems.
- Perform basic welding and fabrication when needed.
- Document maintenance work accurately.
- Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and fellow maintenance technicians.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, reliability, and productivity.
- Follow all OSHA, TOSHA, Lockout/Tagout, and company safety procedures.
- Support a clean, organized workplace through 6S principles.

- Aluminum die cast machines (up to 1,600 tons)
- Industrial furnaces and launder systems
- Hydraulic trim presses
- Plastic injection molding machines (up to 1,200 tons)
- Progressive stamping presses
- Brake presses
- Powder coating systems
- Industrial robots
- Conveyors
- Pumps and motors
- Air compressors
- PLC-controlled production equipment
No two days are exactly the same, providing opportunities to continually build your troubleshooting skills.
What We're Looking For
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, or technical drawings.
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, industrial controls, or automation is preferred.
- Technical school, Mechatronics training, military maintenance experience, or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work around industrial equipment.
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, ladders, and lifts.
- Work overtime or alternate shifts as needed to support production.
