PRN / Part-Time Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator

About Us

Integrated Skin Institute is a rapidly growing dermatology, surgical, vein, and aesthetic practice serving Middle Tennessee. Founded by Vanderbilt-trained, triple board-certified, fellowship-trained dermatologist and Mohs surgeon Dr. Tej Mudigonda, our mission is to provide exceptional, patient-centered care across our expanding network of clinics.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and patient-focused PRN/Part-Time Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible schedule while working in a fast-paced dermatology practice. The Receptionist will primarily provide front office coverage in our Nashville and Dickson offices, with occasional travel to other Middle Tennessee locations as needed.

Candidates with previous medical reception experience and the flexibility to travel between our clinic locations are strongly preferred. Candidates who reside in or near the Nashville area are also preferred, as this provides convenient access to our clinic network.

Dermatology experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic.

Primary Clinic Locations

Nashville, TN
Dickson, TN

Occasional coverage may be needed in:

Lebanon
Gallatin
Murfreesboro
White House

Responsibilities

Greet and check patients in and out with professionalism and compassion
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Verify insurance eligibility and collect required patient information
Collect co-pays, self-pay balances, and process payments
Maintain accurate patient records in eClinicalWorks (ECW)
Scan and upload patient documentation
Assist with appointment reminders and patient communications
Maintain an organized and welcoming front office environment
Work closely with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic flow
Travel between assigned clinic locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Previous medical receptionist or front office experience
Dermatology or specialty medical office experience preferred
Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinic environments
Flexible schedule with the ability to travel between Middle Tennessee clinic locations
Reliable transportation
