Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echocardiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will utilize advanced, non-invasive cardiovascular technology to assist physicians in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of patients with heart and blood vessel conditions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As an Echo Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in an efficient and timely manner. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Patient Care: Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining the process clearly to ease anxiety and ensure comfort.
Diagnostic Imaging: Perform a variety of echocardiographic examinations in strict accordance with company policies and established clinical standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Scan, inspect, and record procedure results to ensure optimum diagnostic quality. Prepare and provide preliminary reports and images to the interpreting physician.
Equipment & Inventory: Assist in the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functionality. Monitor and maintain department supply inventory.
Compliance & Confidentiality: Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in every aspect of the job.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of cardiovascular technology.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Echocardiographic Technician, OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and clinical experience.
Certification/Registry:
Active registry/certification as a Cardiovascular Echo Technologist through ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI/NSCT (RCS) is required.
Current CPR or BLS certification required.
Skills & Knowledge
Clinical Expertise: Strong fundamental knowledge of general ultrasound procedures and cardiovascular anatomy.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific data to physicians and maintain a comforting bedside manner with patients.
Autonomy & Organization: Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word and Excel) and familiarity with ultrasound software.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception to accurately interpret imaging.
