Full Job Description

Residential Options, Inc. (ROI) is looking for caring individuals who are interested in working with children and young adults that have been diagnosed with autism. Both part time and full time positions are available! Part time positions are hourly, requiring a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, with availability 4 to 5 days per week between the hours of 3PM to 7PM.

Residential Options, Inc (ROI) is a Michigan-based, non-profit that specializes in evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). For over 35 years, our company has served hundreds of children, adolescents, adults, and their families through Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and residential living supports. ROI has transformed throughout the years, starting out with two specialized adult foster care homes and growing into a multi-faceted operation which now supports 3 ABA centers, 19residential homes, and a psychotherapy team. Reporting Structure

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst reports to the Clinical Manager.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or ABA; with a concentration in Behavior Analysis or other degree in a related field required. 1-3 years’ experience in a related field required. Current BCBA certification and state licensure required. Must have a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Experience with ABA-therapy-based programs required. Must have the ability to work with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent written and oral communications required. Diplomatic interpersonal skills needed. Attention to detail and follow-through essential.

Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, as well as reliable transportation and be insurable through ROI insurance providers. Flexible schedule to accommodate all client-related needs, including nights required.

Key Responsibilities

Work directly with children with ASD and their families
Assess, supervise, and evaluate client’s treatment programs on an ongoing basis.
Provide training, supervision, and support to registered behavior technicians.
Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Executive Director.

Specific Duties

Conduct clinical assessments using the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, PEAK, EFL or other functional behavior assessments approved by Medicaid and/or private insurance.
Develop person centered treatment plans that are comprehensive, focused and based on medical necessity.
Provide family training and support to parents and siblings to ensure parent involvement and generalization of ABA skills to the home setting
Provide clinical supervision to technicians working in the ROI Learning Center or in family homes.
Continually monitor client’s team to ensure fidelity of treatment program and to develop a supportive work culture between the assigned BCBA and behavior technicians.
Facilitate coordination of service between families, schools, and other service providers.
Work with the billing department to ensure authorization and appropriate documentation for insurance companies.
Complete all clinical documentation and billing via Central Reach in a thorough and timely manner.
Conduct staff performance reviews in collaboration with the operations team.
Conduct RBT competency assessments and renewals.
Maintain continuing education requirements and other certification requirements.
Attend weekly individual supervisions with clinical manager as well as clinical team meetings with other BCBAs
Participate in developing and conducting monthly trainings for technicians.
Lead social skills groups for clients during technician’s lunch break.
Participate in committees with BCBA’s across all 3 ROI locations.
