First National Bank of America is seeking an experienced, driven, and customer-focused Branch Relationship Specialist – Business & Consumer Banking to join our East Lansing team. This is a high-impact role for banking professionals who thrive on building relationships, delivering exceptional service, and growing business through meaningful customer connections.

As a trusted financial partner, you'll play a key role in supporting both business and consumer clients while helping drive branch growth and community presence. What You'll Do

Grow Business Relationships

Drive new deposit growth through customer interactions, internal referrals, business development activities, and community networking
Develop and strengthen relationships with business and consumer customers, serving as a trusted resource for their banking needs
Identify opportunities to introduce customers to products, services, and treasury management solutions that help them achieve their financial goals

Deliver Financial Solutions

Implement and support treasury management services throughout the customer lifecycle
Open, maintain, and update business and consumer accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
Prepare and deliver required customer reporting, ensuring seamless and professional banking experience

Be a Leader in Customer Experience

Provide exceptional service by proactively addressing customer needs and resolving inquiries efficiently
Manage lobby traffic and create a welcoming, professional branch environment
Collaborate with branch teammates to deliver consistent and outstanding customer experience

Maintain Operational Excellence

Process transactions accurately and responsibly, including cash handling and balancing activities
Ensure all account documentation, customer records, and branch activities comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements
Support a culture of accountability, compliance, and operational excellence

What We're Looking For

Minimum one year of branch banking experience required
Strong understanding of business deposit account opening requirements, documentation, and applicable regulations
Proven success in cross-selling financial products and identifying customer opportunities
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and business development skills
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate banking technology platforms effectively
Professionalism, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A passion for helping customers and contributing to branch success
