Schedule: Full-Time | Shift-Based
Pay: 22.00-35.00/hour, depending on experience

We are hiring across our Injection Molding Technician career track. Placement will be based on experience, mechanical ability, injection molding knowledge, and demonstrated leadership skills.

Injection Molding Technician I
Developing Technical Role
- Operate and monitor injection molding equipment
- Handle and stage materials for production
- Learn molds, machines, materials, and auxiliary equipment
- Perform quality checks and follow established process standards
- Recognize production or equipment problems and escalate appropriately
- Assist with mold changes, setups, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain an organized, safe production area
- Complete required production documentation
Best fit: Mechanically inclined candidates who want to build a career in injection molding. Previous molding experience is helpful but not required.

Injection Molding Technician II
Independent Technical Role
Includes Tech I responsibilities, plus:
- Independently operate and support injection molding processes
- Perform mold changes, setups, and startups
- Troubleshoot routine machine, material, mold, and process issues
- Monitor cycle times, scrap, quality, and production performance
- Support operators and developing technicians
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability and production efficiency
Best fit: Candidates with hands-on injection molding or comparable technical manufacturing experience who can independently solve routine production problems.

Lead Injection Molding Technician
Technical + Floor Leadership Role
Includes Tech I & II responsibilities, plus:
- Serve as the technical lead on the assigned shift
- Lead troubleshooting and production response
- Train and develop Tech I, Tech II, and production employees
- Reinforce safety, quality, production, and documentation standards
- Coordinate shift priorities and communicate issues to management
- Help establish and improve production procedures and standards
- Support continuous improvement and root-cause problem solving
- Help build a strong, accountable production culture
Best fit: Experienced injection molding technicians with strong technical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to lead and develop others.

Forklift Operation: This position will require operation of a forklift for material handling and mold changes. Candidates must be able and willing to complete company-required forklift training and authorization. Prior forklift experience is preferred for Technician I and expected for Technician II and Lead-level placement.
Training & Growth
These positions report to and train under our Director of Manufacturing & Engineering.

We don't expect every candidate to arrive knowing everything. We do expect our technicians to show up, learn, take ownership, and help us build a better manufacturing operation.
Pay
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and level of placement.
Technician I: $22-27 | Technician II: $24-30 | Lead Technician: $25 -35
Location
Crown Plastics is currently located in Benicia, California. We expect to relocate operations to our new facility in Dixon, California around November–December 2026.
Applicants must be able to work in Benicia initially and transition to Dixon when the facility moves.
