Full Job Description

Job Summary
Growing Dental practice is hiring experienced professionals. Detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator needed to complete our team!

This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of dental terminology and PPO insurance procedures.

Duties

Coordinate and manage patient appointments; create, reschedule, edit, update appointments accordingly.
Utilize various software systems to maintain accurate patient records.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information.
Conduct insurance verification and assist with dental billing processes.
Provide clerical support including faxing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems.
Assist patients with inquiries regarding their treatment plans and appointment details.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance patient service experience.
Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient flow.
Collect out of pocket expenses and accurately document all transactions.
Generate emails and maintain email folders.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting
Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance processes, and health information management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Google sheets and strong computer skills
Proven record of good attendance and reliability
Excellent customer service/people skills
Works well in a high-volume practice
Gets along well with peers - this is a team effort!
