Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
Process a wide range of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
Manage customer relationships by providing personalized service, upselling relevant products, and addressing inquiries promptly.
Detect and prevent potential fraud or suspicious activities through vigilant monitoring and adherence to security protocols.
Assist in loan origination processes by collecting necessary documentation, verifying information, and guiding clients through application procedures.
Maintain detailed records of all transactions using financial software, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Support cash management activities such as balancing cash drawers, reconciling accounts, and handling debits & credits with precision.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial sales or customer service within banking or financial services sectors.
Strong knowledge of customer relationship management techniques and relationship management skills.
Familiarity with fraud prevention and detection methods to safeguard assets and client information.
Ability to perform loan processing tasks accurately while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, debits & credits, and 10 key typing proficiency.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
Competence in using financial software applications and basic computer literacy.
Demonstrated ability to handle cash management responsibilities efficiently in a retail or banking environment.
