Job DescriptionPosition Summary

As a Medical Receptionist at Leven Group, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in clinic operations and patient experience. This position is critical to front-office efficiency, appointment flow, and accurate patient information management. You will balance professionalism, empathy, and operational discipline in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
Answer and route phone calls, emails, and messages efficiently.
Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.
Collect co-payments and process basic billing transactions when applicable.
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and providers.
Manage front-desk workflow to minimize wait times and optimize patient flow.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and clinic policies.
Support administrative and operational tasks as needed to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications Required

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare front desk role.
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EHR systems.
Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a patient-facing environment.

Preferred

Experience with medical scheduling, insurance verification, and patient intake.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate aligned with the Puerto Rico market: $12/hour, based on experience.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
