Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) — Pediatric Extended Care

Location: Miami, Florida
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Saturday–Sunday (hours vary)

We are a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facility dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate, and medically specialized care to children with complex medical needs. Our team is built on a foundation of clinical excellence, family-centered care, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of the pediatric patients we serve. *Our tentative opening date for the facility is SEPTEMBER 1st*

Position Overview

We are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our growing PPEC team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Our facility operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Schedules will vary based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, hands-on care to medically complex pediatric patients in a structured extended care setting
Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and response to treatment plans
Assist with activities of daily living, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene as appropriate to scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within licensure scope
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure individualized and comprehensive care
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all patients
Communicate effectively with families regarding patient progress and daily care updates
Adhere to all PPEC regulatory standards, facility policies, and state and federal guidelines

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Florida licensure or certification as an RN, LPN, CNA, or HHA
Current CPR/BLS certification — required at time of hire
ServSafe Food Handler Certificate — required within 30 days of hire
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Genuine passion for working with children and their families

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pediatrics, pediatric home health, PPEC, NICU, PICU, or pediatric acute care is a significant plus
Experience working with medically complex or technology-dependent children
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Compensation

Position/Starting Hourly Rate:

CNA /HHA $18.00/hour

LPN $25.00/hour

RN$33.00/hour
