Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is looking for an energetic, organized, and people-focused Catering & Training Manager to help grow our business and develop an outstanding team. This is a unique leadership position that combines community outreach, catering sales, event management, and employee training to ensure every guest receives the exceptional Jeremiah’s experience.

Position Summary
The Catering & Training Manager is responsible for expanding catering opportunities throughout the Columbus market while recruiting, training, and developing team members to uphold Jeremiah’s standards for service, quality, and hospitality. This role works closely with store management to drive sales, improve operations, and build a strong team culture.
Primary Responsibilities
Catering & Community Outreach
- Develop and grow catering sales with schools, churches, businesses, sports teams, and community organizations.
- Build relationships with local businesses and event planners.
- Coordinate catering logistics from booking through execution.
- Represent Jeremiah’s at festivals, community events, fundraisers, and promotional activities.
- Maintain catering calendars and follow up with prospective clients.
- Track catering sales and identify growth opportunities.
Training & Team Development
- Lead onboarding and orientation for new team members.
- Conduct hands-on training in guest service, food preparation, cleanliness, and company standards.
- Coach employees and shift leaders to improve performance.
- Assist managers with leadership development and succession planning.
- Perform training evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Ensure consistent execution of Jeremiah’s operating procedures across all locations.
Operations Support
- Assist stores during busy periods and special events.
- Support hiring and interviewing efforts.
- Help implement new promotions and operational initiatives.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food handling standards.
Qualifications
- Previous management or supervisory experience in restaurant, hospitality, catering, or retail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Sales or business development experience preferred.
- Experience training and coaching employees is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and community events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
