Full Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team.

You will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring efficient administrative and bookkeeping processes.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours in a new small office setting.

Responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assist with Job Quoting/Costing
- Assist in development/implementation of streamlined processes for Job Quoting/Costing
- Develop/distribute seasonal estimates
- Maintenance of customer and vendor correspondence
- Process payroll and maintain appropriate HR files
- Provide direct administrative assistance to owner

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Experience in responsibilities listed above
- Knowledge of accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate skills in Excel
- Ability to self-motivate, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively

Education/Experience:

- Associate degree preferred and/or at least 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Quickbooks experience preferred (or experience in similar software)
