Assignment Snapshot
- Location: Jobs available nationwide and updated daily
- Start Dates: As soon as next week or up to eight weeks out
- Contract Length: 8 to 26 weeks, with frequent extensions available
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year acute care experience
- Current ARRT certification
- At least 2+ years experience in specialty
Typical Duties Include
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Operate multi-slice CT equipment safely and accurately, adjusting technical factors for optimal image quality
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including contrast administration where indicated
- Perform advanced CT imaging exams — including trauma CT, CT angiography, contrast-enhanced, cross-sectional, and specialty studies as required
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs and clinical changes
- Collaborate with radiologists, emergency department nurses, and imaging staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ARRT standards, ALARA radiation-safety principles, and facility compliance protocols
