We are hiring an Experienced Accountant (Supervisor / Manager level) to work in our Dover or Wolfeboro, New Hampshire offices.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and review Federal and State tax returns for individuals, businesses, nonprofits, partnerships, and trusts
Ensure tax filings are accurate, timely, complete, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Provide strategic tax planning and projections tailored to each client’s unique situation
Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries such as hospitality, manufacturing, affordable housing, and closely-held/family-owned businesses
Stay up-to-date with firm policies, procedures, and the AICPA and state CPA society’s Code of Professional Conduct, rules, and regulations
Maintain knowledge and compliance with FASB, AICPA, GAO, and GASB standards, as well as the latest federal and state tax laws
Manage multiple projects and engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations
Build strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues, delivering exceptional service and support
Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions
Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve client and firm objectives
Coach and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional growth and development

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in accounting
4-6 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting
CPA license or eligibility preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills (timely, effective, complete)
Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards
Ability to work independently or in team setting on complex assignments and projects
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or in team setting on complex assignments and projects
Experience with CCH Axcess tax software, CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement, CCH Workflow as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
