Full Job Description

Overview
CT Technologist (Radiology Tech) – Travel assignment in York, Maine. Start date 08/31/2026 for a 13-week assignment with weekly pay in the range of $2,325 to $2,384 per week and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shifts vary and may include day and overnight options; typical shifts involve 3–12 hour blocks, with some overnight coverage (7:30 pm–6:00 am) and scheduling posted at least 7 days in advance. The role requires flexibility to work at multiple imaging locations within the network; primary duties will involve CT imaging, with additional opportunities to support X-ray services at main campus and several walk-in facilities.

Contract duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: Day and overnight options; 3–12 hour blocks; overnight 7:30 pm–6:00 am; schedule varies and posted in advance
Work locations: Primary assignment at a main imaging site with potential coverage at off-site walk-in facilities
Travel within network: Technologist may be asked to start at one location and rotate to another as needed

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging exams following protocol, ensuring accurate patient positioning and proper protocol selection
Operate CT equipment, optimize image quality, monitor patient safety, and adhere to ALARA principles
Administer and manage contrast if required, observing patient preparation and monitoring for adverse reactions
Support X-ray services as needed at various locations, including patient registrations and basic clerical duties to assist walk-in teams
Document procedures, complete required timekeeping accurately, and collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Maintain equipment readiness, perform routine quality checks, and participate in safety and infection control practices

Requirements

ARRT Registered in Radiography with CT certification
Maine RT Licensure
BLS Certification
CT imaging experience required
Ability to work across multiple locations within the network and adapt to changing shift patterns
Flexibility to cover day and overnight shifts; willingness to perform registration/clerical duties at off-site locations as needed
Commitment to excellent patient care and teamwork
