Full Job Description

Accounting Clerk (Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant)

This position reports to the Controller and will assist the Controller in managing the day to day functions in the accounting department including, but not limited to, bank postings, accounts payable and receivables data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.

Support the Controller with accounting functions
Accounts payable data entry into an ERP System (“ERP”)
Accounts payable check run and contact with vendors
ACH & Wire electronic transactions
Manage & pay leases/loans
Credit card postings and reconciliation
Accounts receivable data entry in an ERP
Accounts receivable collections and contact with customers
Cash box management & reconciliation
Daily banking maintenance and postings
Assist with payroll procedures and processes
Assist with end of month, year-end reconciliations, and other engagements
Filing
Supports SUPERB’s Quality System, which includes ISO 9001 and IATF16949.
Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

2-5 years of relatable work experience
Working knowledge of general accounting procedures
Proficiency in relevant software and in MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience with Intuit QuickBooks, a plus
Experience with Navision 2017 ERP system, a plus
Excellent data entry and data management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to prioritize, have a sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines
Good judgement, professional integrity
Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills
Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
