Duties

Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
Support menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with culinary trends.
Oversee shift management, including scheduling, training new staff, and maintaining smooth daily operations.

Skills

Proven experience, fine dining establishments, or restaurant management roles.
Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated team management and leadership capabilities.
Extensive culinary experience with a focus on food production, preparation, and presentation.
Knowledge of inventory management, inventory control, and cost-effective food handling practices.
Expertise in food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and dietary department requirements.
Excellent kitchen management skills including shift coordination, kitchen experience, and food service management.
