Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist, Mill Machinist, and Mastercam Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathe machines and a strong understanding of machining principles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of precision parts for a range of applications.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Load and unload workpieces, select appropriate tooling, and adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor machine operation and conduct regular quality checks to verify conformance to specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet production targets.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC lathe machine operator.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of machining principles.
Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on CNC lathe machines.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and other CNC equipment based on technical drawings and CAD/CAM software.
Set up and configure CNC machines, including tooling selection and fixture design.
Conduct test runs and make adjustments to ensure parts are machined to precise specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues.
Collaborate with the production team to improve efficiency and quality.
Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation for programs, processes, and setups.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (minimum 3-5 years).
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, materials, and GD&T.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Experience with multi-axis machining and CNC machine setup.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with both horizontal and vertical CNC machines.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
