Mailroom Clerk

The Opportunity

As a Mailroom Clerk in our Office Services Department, you will have the opportunity to work extensively in our Mailroom with essential documents necessary for the operation of a leading personal injury law firm.

Accountable for

Process incoming/outgoing mail, including sorting, scanning, copying, and properly distributing to appropriate departments and team members.
Prepare mail and packages for shipment.
Operate mailroom equipment, including but not limited to postage meters, mail sorting machines, scanners, etc.
Organizing and maintaining mailroom supplies in the mailroom, such as envelopes, stamps, and packaging materials.
Special project assistance as necessary.
Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.

Qualifications

Prior law firm experience is preferred.
Advanced experience with office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
Case management software experience preferred.
Ability to sort and organize efficiently.
Experience working with litigation documents.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Compensation

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience
