What You'll Do
As our Office Manager, you will be the organizational hub of our New Britain location, ensuring every detail is handled with accuracy, compassion, and professionalism.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and oversee all administrative paperwork from start to finish.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple services simultaneously.
- Serve as the primary paperwork coordinator for the office.
- Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems before they impact operations.
- Work independently while prioritizing daily responsibilities.
- Coordinate office workflow to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Communicate professionally with families, clergy, cemeteries, vendors, and staff.
- Maintain confidential records with the highest level of discretion.
- Assist with scheduling, service preparation, and administrative support.
- Ensure compliance with funeral home policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support leadership with special projects and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications
- Previous office management or administrative leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating detailed paperwork and office processes.
- Ability to work with empathy while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience in healthcare, legal, funeral service, hospitality, or another detail-oriented profession is a plus.
