Precision Fabricator

Temp to Perm
Full Time
Dracut, MA
1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay range $22-$24/hr DOE
Drug and Background check required

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Precision Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has experience with machine shop or fabrication operations, can read blueprints and work orders, and is comfortable using precision measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing and machine shop equipment.
Perform precision bending, cutting, and trimming.
Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and instructions.
Measure and inspect materials and finished parts for accuracy and quality.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, verniers, and height gauges.
Perform basic math required for work orders.
Identify and communicate print errors or discrepancies.
Perform peer inspections and maintain quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety procedures and meet production/labor standards.

Qualifications

Technical high school diploma or equivalent.
2–3 years of related manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
Dependable, ethical, adaptable, and safety-conscious.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Physical & Work Environment

Must be able to stand, walk, reach, use hands, and perform physically demanding work.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; heavier items require two-person lifting or equipment.
Manufacturing environment with exposure to welding areas, machine shop equipment, compressed gases, robotic equipment, chemicals such as acetone and IPA, and occasional high noise levels.
Required PPE includes safety glasses and rubber gloves when working with chemicals.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
