Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dough Maker/Bagel Roller to join our vibrant bakery team. In this role, you will be essential in preparing high-quality baked goods, specifically focusing on dough preparation and rolling bagels to perfection. Your energy and precision will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of freshness, taste, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced, high-volume food production environment while contributing to a beloved bakery experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare dough according to established recipes and food safety standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Roll out and shape bagels using proper techniques to achieve desired textures and appearances.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation protocols throughout the shift.
Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens safely and efficiently.
Assist with other food preparation tasks including pastry preparation, cake decorating, and food handling as needed.
Follow recipe instructions precisely to ensure product consistency across large batches.
Support packaging of baked goods for sale or delivery, ensuring products are presented attractively and securely.

Requirements

Prior experience in food production, bakery work, or pastry preparation is highly preferred.
Knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and bagel or baked good production.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume setting.
Strong attention to detail with excellent knife skills for shaping dough and pastries.
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes.
Commitment to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace at all times.
Customer service experience is a plus for engaging positively with team members and customers alike.
