The Shop Fine Millwork is a premier manufacturer focused on high end, luxury residential cabinetry and millwork in the Austin and surrounding markets. We are looking to add additional support staff in our finish department for part prep, sanding and finishing under the direction of our lead finisher. This is a shop finishing position that may require some site work from time to time.
As a valued member of our team your responsibilities could include (but would not be limited to)
- Finish Sanding (including use of wide belt veneer sander after training)
- All associated prep work for finishing
- Maintenance/cleanliness of finishing shop and equipment
- Custom staining of veneer casework, doors and panels
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- 1 year shop finishing experience preferred
- Knowledge of finishing equipment and proper maintenance procedures
- Site finishing / touchup experience
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work well with others and be part of team
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Physical fitness, including but not limited to being able to lift 50+ lbs
Shop Hours
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:45PM
- Additional overtime only as required
Starting Base Pay Based on Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
