Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistants and Podiatrists to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wound care management and demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients with various wound types. This role requires a compassionate approach, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients with acute and chronic wounds, developing individualized care plans.
Administer appropriate wound care treatments, including dressing changes and medication administration.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and overall health management.
Maintain accurate patient records using WoundAlly EHR
Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound care practices.
Stay current with advancements in wound care management and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Current Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant and Podiatrist license with a specialization in wound care or related field.
Current Wound Care Certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience in internal medicine, podiatry, geriatrics is preferred.
Familiarity with outpatient settings and teaching hospitals is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
