Summary:
This position will report to the Supervisor, FBZ and Receiving. The purpose of this position is to carry out all duties involved with unloading and receiving material into the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ability to handle deliveries and inventory control procedures.

Loading and unloading packages up to at least 50 lbs.

Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and item numbers with information on invoices or packing slips and purchase orders; record any discrepancies or damages.

Inspect shipments for damage defects.

Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer planners and other personnel

Submit proper documents and notifications to accounts payable.

Delivers materials systematically and physically to various locations within the plant in a timely manner

Must be able to operate a forklift truck.
At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.88-$21.35, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Have a good understanding of BPCS & ADC systems

Good communications and computer skills

Ability to add & subtract, multiply, divide.

Knowledge of inventory procedures and transactions

Travel Requirements:
The travel required for this position is less than 5%.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
