Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification (preferred)
Position Highlights:
- Small community hospital with a busy procedural unit
- Current team includes 2 Registered Nurses and 2 Technologists
- Additional staffing support currently in place with agency personnel
- On-call requirement: 7–14 call days per month
- Experience with STEMI and balloon pump cases preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of recent cardiac experience preferred; IR experience accepted
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures
- Scrub in and support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases
- Assist with STEMI cases and balloon pump procedures as needed
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and procedural staff to deliver quality patient care
Requirements:
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active state license or eligibility where applicable
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2–3 years of recent cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred; Interventional Radiology experience will be considered
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy, EKG interpretation, and sterile technique
- Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced procedural environments
