Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Managing Dentist to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and expertise. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring exceptional patient care, and fostering a positive team environment. As the driving force behind our practice’s success, you will utilize your comprehensive dental knowledge and leadership skills to deliver top-quality treatments while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties

Lead and manage the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination
Provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures
Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients about their oral health needs
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping
Oversee medical imaging procedures and interpret findings to support diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and current best practices in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed
Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with legal standards; manage dental fabrication processes when applicable
Foster a patient-centered culture that emphasizes excellent patient care, comfort, and satisfaction at every visit

Requirements

Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a Managing Dentist
Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures
Strong familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance
Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and other advanced treatments
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas like pediatric dentistry, endodontics, infection control techniques, and medical imaging
