Department: Planning, Forecasting, Rates & Corp. Performance

Role Snapshot

Provides administrative and secretarial support to the Vice President, Planning and other departmental staff with a high level of accuracy.
Provides backup support for other departmental staff assistants.
Provides administrative and secretarial functions for assigned associates.
Assists with the preparation of the department annual budget. Monitors budget and processes invoices for payment. Compiles data and develops preliminary budget.
Provides administrative guidance to associates concerning the Administrative Style Manual and procedures and assures compliance with corporate standards.
Assists the VP in tracking action items assigned by the CEO, CFO or those self-imposed to ensure proper closure.
Implements special projects as directed.

Education and Experience

Education: Associate Business Degree, Secretarial Degree or Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) rating

Experience: Six years secretarial and administrative experience and a general knowledge of management.

Equivalent Experience: High School with ten years secretarial and administrative experience.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Word Processing Skills and Computer Proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Good analytical skills.
Strong people and customer service skills.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) rating is desired.
