Full Job Description

Contract‑Certified Dietary Manager provides oversight of dietary services in a long‑term care facility, ensuring compliance with nutritional standards and regulations. The role involves menu development, staff supervision, and coordination with clinical teams to deliver timely, personalized nutrition to residents. This 26‑week contract supports the organization’s mission to provide high‑quality, compliant care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily oversight and management of dietary services within the long‑term care facility.
Develop, implement, and monitor menus that meet nutritional standards and residents’ dietary restrictions.
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely and appropriate meal delivery and dietary care.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to food safety and dietary services.
Supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.
CPR certification.
Minimum 1 year experience in dietary management or food service within a healthcare setting.
Experience with long‑term care facilities.
Ability to work dayshift (8 AM - 5 PM).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
Certification or degree in dietary management or food service administration preferred
