Full Job Description

*Overview*

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a smooth patient experience, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role is crucial in supporting the administrative functions of our medical practice while providing exceptional service to our patients.

*Responsibilities*

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.

- Utilize software for scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care effectively.

- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other relevant healthcare policies.

*Skills*

- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation review and file management.

- Familiarity with Nymbl or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of service. Ability to learn to ship and receive medical supplies daily and organize and complete fitting appointments.
