Job Summary

Our established and growing law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal assistant to join our team. The Legal Assistant will play a key role in supporting attorneys, managing daily administrative operations, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, greeting clients, and handling correspondence.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, court dates, and client appointments.
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, letters, and forms using approved templates.
Maintain, organize, and safeguard legal files and records.
Communicate effectively with attorneys, courts, clients, and outside counsel.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic accounting tasks.
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes for greater efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
