Full Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an overnight Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk.

Responsibilities:

Answer phones and direct calls.
Monitor the emergency intercom system.
Assist residents in calling cabs, cashing small checks, calling for escorts, and informational needs.
Track resident absences and meal attendance.
Direct family and resident visitors to locate the residents.
Control access of sales people to Department Managers.
Maintain daily log books as directed by the Supervisor and the Administrator.
Implement monthly fire drill procedures.
Record all maintenance requests from departments and residents.
Update all administrative records necessary to keep office personnel current on resident changes.
Have visitors sign in on Visitors Log.
Monitor security camera.
Make announcements over the PA system as needed.
Accept and secure residents monthly payments.

Requirements:
- Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
