ROLE

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. If you have a passion for transforming spaces, a strong interior design background, and a desire to collaborate in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Requirements

Lead clients through the interior selections process, developing cohesive finish packages that align with their style, functional needs, and investment level.
Select and specify all interior finishes, fixtures, materials, cabinetry details, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, hardware, paint colors, tile, flooring, countertops, and other design elements.
Present design concepts and finish selections to clients, incorporating feedback while maintaining design integrity and project goals.
Collaborate closely with the Architectural Designer to ensure finish selections complement the overall design vision and are coordinated with the floor plan and construction documents.
Partner with Estimating, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure selections are complete, constructible, and delivered on schedule.
Conduct showroom visits, vendor meetings, and on-site visits as needed to verify design intent, answer field questions, and resolve finish-related challenges during construction.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients throughout the design process, providing an exceptional customer experience from concept through completion.
Stay current on industry trends, products, materials, and best practices to deliver thoughtful, timeless, and high-quality interior designs.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
5+ years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on residential construction and specifically remodeling projects.
Strong understanding of residential finish materials, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile, flooring, and color theory.
Exceptional eye for aesthetics, proportion, and detail.
Experience presenting design concepts and guiding clients through decision-making.
Proficiency with design software such as Chief Architect, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar visualization tools (Chief Architect preferred).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, client-focused approach.
Ability to balance creativity with budget, constructability, and project timelines.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary plus quarterly profit sharing for a total annual compensation of $70,000 – 90,000 depending on experience
401(k) with employer contributions
