Work is on-site (no remote/hybrid options) located at 225 Ottley Dr. Northeast, Atlanta, GA

Salary: $70,000–$80,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Onsite)
Location: 225 Ottley Dr. NE, Atlanta, GA
Travel: Approximately 2 weeks per year to Asia

About the Role

As the Senior Buyer, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are available when our customers need them by managing purchasing activities from demand planning through supplier delivery.

You'll work closely with overseas suppliers, freight partners, Sales, Product Development, Warehouse, Finance, and Demand Planning to ensure products arrive on time, at the right cost, and to the expected quality standards.

While our ERP, MRP, and reporting tools provide the information, success in this role depends on your ability to analyze purchasing and inventory data, identify potential risks, prioritize actions, and proactively communicate solutions.

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain. Although it is not a formal management role, we're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, helps improve processes, supports teammates, and leads through influence, organization, and execution.

What You'll Do

Run MRP and review replenishment recommendations.
Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders from placement through receipt.
Track open purchase orders and proactively manage supplier commitments and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners.
Analyze purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, and open-order data to identify shortages, delays, excess inventory, and supply risks.
Use ERP reports and Excel to prioritize work, solve problems, and support business decisions.
Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, lead times, quality, and responsiveness.
Maintain supplier master data and purchasing parameters.
Support Product Development RFQ, and new product initiatives.
Coordinate inspections, testing, and receiving activities.
Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Demand Planning, or Supply Planning.
Experience working with manufacturing suppliers; overseas supplier experience strongly preferred.
Experience coordinating international shipments, import documentation, or global supply chains is a plus.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems (Business Central, Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, or similar).
Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, linked spreadsheets, and the ability to analyze purchasing, inventory, supplier, and open-order data to identify risks and support decision-making.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
