The Safety & Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing safety and compliance for Pharaoh Energy’s oilfield operations, including pressure pumping, frac, acidizing, transportation, and field operations. This position will help ensure employees, equipment, and operations meet company safety standards and applicable federal, state, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
We are looking for a Safety & Compliance Manager who can work alongside management and field/shop employees to identify risks, develop practical solutions, and improve safe and effective work practices. The ideal candidate will be a partner to management and employees, providing coaching, communication, and guidance while helping maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities
- Oversee Pharaoh Energy’s safety and compliance programs.
- Conduct field audits, inspections, and safety meetings in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico.
- Conduct and assist with incident and accident investigations.
- Provide practical safety guidance and work with management to improve processes, reduce risk, and promote a safer, more efficient operation.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain required safety, training, and compliance records.
- Develop and provide safety training for employees.
- Monitor drug and alcohol testing requirements and DOT compliance.
- Review DQ files, MVRs, Clearinghouse requirements, and other DOT records.
- Identify hazards and collaborate with supervisors and employees to correct unsafe conditions.
- Track safety incidents, corrective actions, and required follow-up.
- Assist with inspections, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Previous safety experience in the oilfield, pressure pumping, frac, acidizing, or related industrial environment preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Preferred Candidate
- Ability to coach, communicate, and provide guidance in a professional, practical manner.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Experience conducting field audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Experience developing or delivering safety training.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and work with management, supervisors, and field employees to develop realistic and practical solutions that work in the field.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to travel to company field locations.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel to field locations in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico.
- Comfortable working outdoors and around oilfield equipment.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including kneeling, bending, climbing, walking, standing, and inspecting equipment and work areas.
- Be available to respond to safety incidents and urgent compliance matters when needed.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
