Full Job Description

Saline Oral Facial & Dental Implant Surgery is seeking a dependable, professional, and highly detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team.

Our front desk team plays an essential role in both the patient experience and the day-to-day operation of our practice. We are looking for someone who is welcoming and compassionate with patients, communicates professionally, works well as part of a team, and most importantly pays close attention to every detail.

Attention to Detail Is Essential

Exceptional attention to detail is one of the most important requirements for this position.

Our front desk team is responsible for information that directly affects our patients, clinical schedule, treatment, insurance processing, and financial arrangements. Accuracy matters.

The right candidate will naturally double-check their work, notice when information is missing or doesn't look correct, follow established processes completely, and make sure tasks are followed through from beginning to end.

We need someone who can work efficiently and multitask in a busy environment without sacrificing accuracy.

Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will help guide our patients through their experience with our office from their initial phone call through treatment and follow-up.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answering incoming phone calls and assisting patients with questions
Scheduling consultations, surgical procedures, and follow-up appointments
Accurately entering and maintaining patient information
Obtaining and verifying dental insurance information
Assisting with insurance claims and pre-treatment estimates
Discussing treatment estimates and patient financial responsibilities
Collecting and posting patient payments
Communicating with referring dental offices and other healthcare providers
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Helping coordinate the daily schedule and patient flow
Following established office procedures and ensuring all necessary steps are completed
Protecting patient confidentiality and maintaining professionalism at all times
Working closely with the doctor, clinical team, and other front office team members
Following tasks through to completion and communicating when additional follow-up is needed
Assisting with additional administrative responsibilities as needed

Works well as part of a team and is willing to help wherever needed

Experience

Dental or medical front office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Previous experience with any of the following is a plus:

Dental terminology
Dental or medical insurance
Insurance verification and claims
Treatment plan presentation
Patient scheduling
Dental practice management or electronic medical record software
Patient collections and financial arrangements

Schedule

This is a Monday through Friday position.

Hours vary depending on the clinical schedule and may begin as early as 6:30 AM. Most days end by approximately 4:00 PM.

Every other Monday is a late clinic day, with hours generally around 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Candidates must have the flexibility to work within these hours.

Compensation

Starting at $17.00 per hour

Higher starting compensation may be available based on relevant dental/medical experience, knowledge, and qualifications.
