Front Desk Receptionist / Showroom Associate

Location: 3429 W Spruce St.
Department: Operations
Reports To: Showroom Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturdays 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview

The Front Desk Receptionist / Showroom Associate is often the first point of contact for homeowners, builders, designers, and trade professionals visiting Priano's showroom. This full-time, bilingual (English/Spanish) position combines hospitality and client-facing responsibilities with hands-on coordination and organizational support. The ideal candidate is sharp, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and clear communication are essential. This role offers excellent advancement opportunities into project coordination, scheduling, and operations roles within the company.

Key ResponsibilitiesReception & Client Experience

Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally
Answer and screen incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate sales, project management, or administrative staff
Screen walk-in visitors and direct them to the appropriate team member based on their needs
Provide basic and accurate information about Priano's services in person, by phone, and via email
Serve as a communication bridge between clients, sales reps, and internal teams — relaying messages, updates, and follow-ups accurately and promptly
Maintain the reception and hospitality area; offer and serve beverages and snacks to guests
Control showroom access via the reception desk; manage opening and closing procedures including lights, doors, and alarm systems

Scheduling & Coordination

Schedule and manage meeting rooms and common areas for the sales team, trade members, and vendor representatives — coordinating availability, confirming appointments, and communicating changes
Maintain shared calendars and scheduling tools to ensure real-time visibility for the sales and operations teams
Coordinate vendor training sessions, showroom events, and product demonstrations — handling logistics, room setup, and participant communication
Track and follow up on scheduled appointments; confirm attendance and send reminders to clients and trade professionals
Assist with forecasting showroom traffic and appointment volume to help the team plan staffing and coverage

Data Entry & Systems

Enter leads, prospects, and client inquiries into company systems accurately and promptly
Maintain and update databases, contact records, and project documentation
Support the operations team with data entry, reporting, and system updates (experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus)
Help ensure information in scheduling tools and CRM systems stays current and reliable

Showroom Operations & Support

Maintain showroom displays, product samples, and merchandising standards
Order and manage office and showroom supplies
Assist showroom manager and staff with side projects, administrative tasks, and daily operations as needed
Support material organization and help keep product areas presentable and well-stocked

Qualifications / Skills Required

Bilingual – English and Spanish required (Portuguese is a plus)
Flooring, cabinetry, or interior finishes industry experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Proactive problem solver who can anticipate needs and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills — comfortable communicating with homeowners, builders, subcontractors, and internal teams
Computer proficiency required; experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, scheduling software, or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) preferred
Professional demeanor, efficient work habits, and a customer-first mindset
Interest in interior design, home décor, or related fields is a plus
