Patient Care Coordinator (Cosmetic Surgery)
Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington | North Bethesda, MD

The Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington is seeking a polished, energetic, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our fast-paced, premier plastic surgery practice. This individual plays a critical role in the patient journey — guiding prospective patients from their first interaction through surgery while delivering an exceptional, concierge-level experience.

We are looking for a natural relationship-builder who thrives in a service-driven, sales-focused environment and is excited to contribute to a collaborative team of 16 dedicated professionals.

Position Overview

This role centers on cosmetic surgery consultation conversion and surgical scheduling while ensuring a seamless, personalized experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is confident discussing procedures and fees, technologically savvy, detail-oriented, and motivated to exceed goals.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for new cosmetic surgery patients
Guide patients through the consultation and decision-making process with warmth and professionalism
Educate patients on procedures, timelines, and expectations
Present treatment plans and fees with clarity and confidence
Coordinate surgical scheduling and manage the financial process, including payment collection
Act as liaison between surgeons and patients to ensure outstanding communication and responsiveness
Review pre- and post-operative instructions and support patients throughout their journey
Customize care plans while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
Deliver a high-touch experience that reflects the elevated standards of our practice

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, cosmetic dentistry, or medical aesthetics is highly desirable — though we will train the right candidate
Candidates with hospitality, luxury retail, or high-end service backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Able to effectively sustain multiple simultaneous tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and starting at $28/hour + monthly bonus potential on surigcal sales.
