Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our food service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence at all times. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about culinary arts, team management, and hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with local health regulations and industry standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Lead staff training initiatives to develop culinary skills, reinforce safety standards, and promote excellent customer service.
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management, timely service delivery, and optimal guest experiences.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
Conduct performance evaluations, interview potential team members, and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Analyze profit and loss statements to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality food standards.

Experience

Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, food safety management, and food production processes.
Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining settings with catering or banquet experience preferred.
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams, conducting training sessions, and managing hospitality teams effectively.
Familiarity with budgeting, cost control measures, and profit & loss analysis within a restaurant or food service operation.
Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing staff, staff training & development, and managerial communication with team members.
