What You'll Do
- Geosteer multiple active wells while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and confidence in your interpretations
- Monitor wellbore placement and provide proactive recommendations to keep wells within target objectives
- Deliver timely, professional reports and updates to operators
- Communicate effectively with clients, drilling teams, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with fellow geologists to share knowledge, review interpretations, and improve outcomes
- Anticipate potential issues before they become problems and actively work toward solutions
- Follow client-specific SOPs and Terra Guidance quality standards
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geology or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of geosteering experience
- Experience steering multiple wells simultaneously
- Proficiency with StarSteer or equivalent geosteering software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a distraction-free home office
- Proficient with Microsoft’s Suite of Applications
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to comply with company Drug & Alcohol policies
Schedule
- Remote position
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
- 12-hour shifts during active work rotation
