HRIS Administrator
POSITION IDENTITY
The HRIS Administrator is the steward of reliable, secure, and actionable people data and the owner of an effective Dayforce experience for the organization.
You are a systems-minded problem solver who connects people, processes, and technology. You ensure Dayforce is configured to support the needs of the business, that employee data is accurate and protected, and that HR teams and leaders can confidently use the system and its reporting capabilities.
You bring curiosity, attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset to your work. You anticipate needs, identify opportunities to simplify processes, and translate business requirements into practical HR technology solutions. Through strong partnerships with HR, IT, leaders, and system users, you help create an efficient, data-driven HR function.
WHAT YOU OWN
A Reliable and Optimized Dayforce Environment
- Administer, maintain, configure, and optimize the Dayforce HRIS to support organizational needs, company standards, and business continuity.
- Configure workflows, interfaces, reporting structures, security roles, and system functionality.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and partner with internal and external resources to resolve system concerns.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, processes, and changes.
Trusted People Data
- Protect the accuracy, consistency, integrity, and security of employee data within Dayforce and related HR systems.
- Conduct regular data audits, identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and establish effective data-governance practices.
- Maintain HR records and documentation using consistent naming, storage, retention, and security standards.
- Conduct periodic file and system audits to support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Meaningful Reporting and Insights
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Dayforce reporting capabilities and Power BI.
- Translate HR data into clear, actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Partner with HR and leadership to define key performance indicators and ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Identify trends and patterns in workforce data and communicate findings in an accessible, useful format.
- Regularly audit reports and dashboards to maintain accuracy and relevance.
Connected and Efficient HR Technology
- Partner with HR and IT to implement system upgrades, new modules, integrations, and process improvements.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot API and other system integrations between Dayforce and business applications.
- Evaluate current workflows and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, improve the employee experience, or strengthen data quality.
- Lead or support HRIS projects by coordinating timelines, resources, testing, communication, and deliverables.
Confident System Users
- Serve as a trusted resource for HR, managers, and other Dayforce users.
- Provide technical support, investigate system questions, and resolve user issues.
- Develop and deliver training on Dayforce functionality, reporting tools, system updates, and best practices.
- Help HR partners build confidence in using data and analytics to inform decisions.
Secure and Compliant HR Operations
- Maintain HRIS practices that align with company security requirements and applicable data-protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA where applicable.
- Apply appropriate access controls and data-handling practices to protect confidential employee information.
- Partner with HR and IT to identify and address system, integration, security, and compliance risks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity.

WHAT YOU BRING
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three or more years of HRIS administration experience, preferably with Dayforce or a comparable enterprise HRIS in a mid-to-large organization.
- Experience supporting HRIS implementations, module rollouts, integrations, upgrades, or process-improvement initiatives.
Capabilities
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS administration, configuration, workflows, data management, and system security.
- Experience with Dayforce or a similar enterprise HRIS platform.
- Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and data flows between business applications.
- Proficiency in HR reporting, analytics, and business-intelligence tools, including Power BI.
- Ability to analyze workforce data, recognize trends, and translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex system and data issues.
- Understanding of data protection, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Strong project-management, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across HR, IT, leadership, vendors, and system users.
- Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical experience.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, fit testing, and aptitude and/or competency assessments.
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License and meet Company driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with Company policy.
- Must maintain regular, predictable, in-person attendance.
- Overtime may occasionally be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role primarily works indoors in an office environment and involves extended periods of sitting, computer use, keyboarding, and repetitive hand and wrist motions. The role may occasionally require standing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, crouching, climbing, and independently lifting up to 25 pounds. Work hours may occasionally include early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on business needs.

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
