Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to lead our catering and event sales initiatives. This role involves developing new business, managing client accounts, and expanding our presence in the catering industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in outside sales, management, and business development, with a proven track record in B2B sales and territory management. The Catering Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth through strategic lead generation, product demos, upselling, and effective territory management.

Duties

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new clients and expand existing accounts within assigned territories.
Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling, networking, and direct sales presentations to prospective clients.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring customer needs are met with tailored solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and account management strategies.
Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
Lead territory management efforts by identifying target markets, analyzing competitors, and implementing effective strategies for growth.
Upsell additional services or products to existing clients to increase revenue per account.
Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.

Experience

Proven success in outside sales or business development roles within the hospitality, catering, or related industries.
Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, territory management, lead generation, and direct sales techniques.
Excellent communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and negotiations.
Background in marketing or technical sales is a plus, especially if related to hospitality or event services.
Prior experience in account management or customer service roles is highly desirable.
Ability to analyze market data and develop strategies based on insights gained from analysis skills.
