Bookkeeper / Financial Operations / Accounting
Flexible schedule (part-time or full-time)
Family Law Firm

We are an established and highly respected family law firm with a close-knit team of appx. ten professionals seeking a Bookkeeper / Financial Operations / Accounting person to support the financial side of our practice. This role offers a high degree of flexibility and the opportunity to shape the position based on your experience and availability. What makes this opportunity unique is the flexibility we can offer, combined with the chance to step into a stable firm.

For the right person, this can be structured as either a part-time or full-time role.

Core Responsibilities (Part-Time and Full-Time Scope)

Payroll processing and coordination
Retirement plan contributions and tracking
Coordination with external vendors and service providers
Client account closeouts (financial only)
Handling client billing and payment-related questions
Managing firm expenses and accounts payable, licenses, subscriptions, and budget.
Preparing financial reports and assisting with analysis
Working with our CPA on tax matters and filings

Additional Responsibilities (Full-Time Scope)

If structured as a full-time role, additional responsibilities may include expanded financial reporting, budgeting support, process improvements, firm support, and broader operational coordination. We are open to shaping the role around the strengths of the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For

Strong bookkeeping or accounting experience (law firm or professional services background preferred, but not required)
Trust accounting
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
Strong communication skills, including client-facing interactions when needed
Experience with accounting, billing, and/or practice management software is preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office
