Full Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Barista to join our team. The Barista will prepare drinks, assist customers, maintain a clean work area, and help ensure smooth daily store operations.

Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally. This role helps ensure efficient service by supporting servers, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Food Runners play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for every guest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Food Delivery

Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests.
Verify that each order is complete, accurate, and presented properly before leaving the kitchen.
Identify table numbers and guests correctly to ensure food is delivered to the right customer.
Communicate any missing items, special requests, or concerns to the kitchen and management immediately.
Assist with carrying large trays and handling multiple orders safely.

Guest Service

Greet guests courteously when delivering food.
Answer basic menu questions or direct guests to a server or manager when necessary.
Check guest satisfaction after food delivery and notify appropriate staff of any issues.
Maintain a friendly, professional, and positive attitude at all times.

Dining Room Support

Assist with clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas.
Refill condiments, utensils, napkins, and other guest supplies as needed.
Help with opening, running, and closing side work assignments.
Maintain clean and organized service stations.

Teamwork

Work closely with kitchen staff, cashiers, servers, and managers to ensure smooth operations.
Assist other team members during busy periods.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Ability to carry trays, food items, and restaurant supplies.
Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment with varying noise levels.

Performance Expectations

Deliver food accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Provide excellent guest service.
Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Arrive on time and ready to work for every scheduled shift.

Attendance Policy

Employees are responsible for working their scheduled shifts. If an employee is unable to work a shift, they are responsible for finding a qualified coworker to cover the shift. If coverage cannot be secured, the employee remains responsible for working the scheduled shift unless otherwise approved by management.
