Our client is currently seeking a qualified ServiceNow Developer to join their team in a remote role. This Developer should possess current and active ServiceNow certifications including certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
This is a remote role, with the ideal candidate preferred to be based in Atlanta, GA OR Charlotte, NC OR Raleigh, NC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build secure applications following least-privilege principles
Protect sensitive customer and financial data
Follow secure coding practices
Support audit logging and compliance reporting
Understand vulnerability remediation and platform hardening
Provide operational excellence
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience developing and customizing ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Service Catalog
Knowledge Management skills
Change Management skills
Incident and Problem Management skills
Experience with Service Portal and/or Employee Center
Familiarity with source control (Git) and CI/CD practices
Banking Industry Knowledge
Support production environments with high availability requirements
Troubleshoot critical incidents
Perform root cause analysis
Manage platform upgrades
Monitor platform performance
Maintain SLAs and operational metrics
Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise platforms such as:
Active Directory/Azure AD
Identity and Access Management solutions
Monitoring tools
HR systems
Security tools (SIEM, vulnerability management)
Core banking or enterprise applications
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Security Mindset
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize competing requests
Collaborative approach with infrastructure, security, compliance, and business teams
Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between $45.00 - $65.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
