YOUR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE — a car that belongs to you, is well-maintained, and is fueled before every shift. Not borrowed. Not shared. Yours. Uber, Lyft, and public transportation are not acceptable for this role.
A VALID, CURRENT DRIVER'S LICENSE — expired and suspended licenses are immediate disqualifications.
CURRENT PERSONAL AUTO INSURANCE — proof required before your start date.
A WORKING SMARTPHONE — this is not optional. Your schedule, your communication with the office, your client updates — everything runs through your phone. If your phone does not work reliably, this job does not work.
AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 8AM TO 5PM — this schedule is not flexible.
AVAILABLE ON-CALL ONE WEEKEND PER MONTH — this is a firm requirement. If one weekend per month does not work for you, please do not apply.

This is not a job where you clock in and go silent. You are working independently in clients' homes and the DJM office team needs to be able to reach you.
When DJM calls you during your working hours — you answer. Not when you feel like it. Not after the job. You answer.
Your phone is your lifeline to the team. You use it to check your schedule, update job statuses, communicate with the office, and stay connected throughout the day. A working smartphone in good condition is required at all times during work hours.

There is no supervisor watching you work. No one checking your progress room by room. No manager standing over your shoulder making sure you follow the checklist. You are inside a client's home, representing DJM Cleaning, and how you conduct yourself in that space is entirely on you.

DJM uses a proven speed cleaning system. You will be trained on it completely before you work independently. The system tells you exactly what to clean, in what order, and how.
Your job is to follow it — precisely and completely — in every home, every time.
No skipping steps because you are running behind. No adding things a client asked for that are outside the scope. No doing it your way because you think your way is better. The system exists because it works. Consistency is what earns 5-star reviews. Consistency is what earns you more money. Consistency is what Owning Your Results looks like at DJM.
We do not want cleaners with prior experience at other cleaning companies who are used to doing things a different way. We prefer to train people our way from the start. If you come from food service, hospitality, hotel housekeeping, warehouse work, or any physical on-your-feet job — your work ethic and your background translate perfectly to this role.

You leave home each morning and drive to your first client's house. You complete 2 to 3 residential cleans per day using the DJM speed cleaning system. You work on your feet all day — bending, kneeling, lifting, scrubbing. You communicate with the office throughout the day. You take care of your supplies. You represent DJM professionally in every home you walk into.
This is physical work. It requires stamina, focus, and the ability to maintain the same quality standard on your third clean of the day that you had on your first.
